The market for biodiesel and ethanol, the front runner alternative fuels, really started
in August 2005, after passage of the Federal Energy Policy Act. The bill set a new standard target of requiring the United States to use 7 billion gallons of renewable fuel by 2012.
Before the energy bill passed, soybean oil was widely sold as a food additive - part of our nutrition. But that is history. Sugar prices have been rising more than 40% over a period of 2 years, due to pressure from the ethanol market, using the same feedstock.
The alternative energy market has become a mighty competitor with our own food chain. Is this unavoidable? No, we should better utilize our organic waste - with this unique KDV process.
Energy Visions' history began in autumn of 2005 when technology transfer specialist, Hans-Henning Judek came across the revolutionary KDV process in business publications and further researched it in Europe.
KDV technology is a unique depolymerization (chemical, low-temperature cracking)
process that turns the planet’s regrowth organic material as well as waste/trash/garbage
into a quality grade, synthetic, clean diesel – or A1 jet fuel.
The company was formed in 2005 and incorporated, with California registery, November 2006. It created a working alliance with AlphaKat GMBH in Germany, the parent company of the scientist/inventor, and patent holder, Dr Christian Koch.
Mr. Judek, now Executive Chairman of Energy Visions, was extended permission in 2005 to explore the potential of establishing a KDV market in America, along with his long time associate and promotional and marketing director, Marc Hagan. For the better part of 2006, they decided to vett the process with various agencies of the California government: - the Integrated Waste Management Board; Secretary of Food & Agriculture Mr. Kawamura and associates; CARB;
and the Energy Commission. All became enthusiastic after about 20 minutes of presentation.
Members soon became aware of the economic and environmental aspects of the highly remarkable potential of the KDV depolymerization process. It ingests any organic waste –
then produces the hi-grade, ultra-low-sulfur, domestic diesel it is famous for. It was much more than just a business to start; it held the prospect of diminishing the ever increasing pile of nasty trash
and refuse accumulating across our land, as well as regrowth agro-mass. At the same time,
it could curtail imported high sulfur content fossil oil into America.
It is the new alternative, ‘alternative fuel’ without the inherent limitations of ethanol, methanol, and biodiesel.
The Future
Energy Visions intends to form joint-partner ventures or PPP among these partners troubled with waste disposal problems or town/city bodies offering endless feedstocks. The innovative
KDV environmentally friendly synthetic fuel will be offered at substantial discount to these entities as well as marketing to airports, fleets, road maintenance crews, city transit systems trains, school districts, and - trucking associations to help bring down the cost of groceries.
If imported crude rises, this American fuel will not.
We plan, where possible, to offer work positions to local under employed Americans to regain their dignity.
In the future, we also plan to offer micro-loans to help other entrepreneurs achieve success.
